YOUR COMFORT ZONES AND COMFORT LEVEL - ONLY YOU DECIDE WHAT THOSE ARE! - OUR RESPECT

COMFORT ZONE/LEVEL

image1

First and foremost we respect your comfort zone for the types of clothing and accessories you will wear, the types of poses ,and the level of exposure of your body.

That being said, there is minimum that needs to be achieved for Boudoir , Glamor and Pin-Up photography when it comes to exposure of one's body.

Portraiture can be simple and fully dressed or also seductive, so weight the pros and cons of your comfort level against the expected results for the photo shoot!

BREAK SOME INHIBITIONS

image2

We respect your needs and wants, but the results of the photo shoot will reflect the level of inhibitions that you bring to the event, remember that.

We recommend that you try to relax best you can, our team professional will make sure you feel completely comfortable. Most of the team is composed of ladies, with the exceptions of some of the photographers.

Everyone is polite, gentle and proper in all their work and we hold no judgement to any look, body type or demeanor, we believe in the beauty of the female form.

SOME CLOTHING OPTIONAL...OR NOT!

image3

You may want to be fully clothed during the whole event, and that is fine, as long as there are “revealing” areas of interest to make the sensuality come out and be part of the image.

Visual Arts require some level of risk and sometimes pushing that comfort level or zone.

Committing to take chances and step out of the box, regarding how much to show, will make the event more memorable and the photography much more seductive.

TRANSITIONING TO A FUN PROCESS

image4

Go a bit out of your comfort zone, and comfort level, with exposing your beauty. As you go along wit the photo shoot, and get more relaxed, that comfort zone will expand to levels you might not had imagined before. Once the work is done with class and the photography is great, barriers are broken!

Most of our ladies show a transition from apprehensive to relaxed and having fun in the process.  Remember, sometimes when our guard is down  a bit, and we take risks, we dare more, and usually in this case is for better end results.  So…dare to be beautiful!

ABOUT LOCATIONS

image5

In regards to studios and locations, we offer a variety of options, from a simple small studio properly lighted and equipped in a home, in the Kalamazoo area, to a professional large studio utilized by various photographers in the area (Therefore rented and much more expensive) as well as the availability of using a nice hotel room to do the photo shoot such as the Radisson Hotel in downtown Kalamazoo, where a very nice suite can be prepped for the event. usually this works very well.

However, more and more these days, our lady clients are telling us that we should go to their homes or second/vacation homes or localities outside the area to do the photo shoot.

HOME PHOTO SHOOTS

Doing this kind of event in your home has the “home court advantage”, because  you are “in the comfort and safety” of your own home! A very popular option for interesting photography these days.

If we are to use your home for a photo shoot ,whether it is for Boudoir , Glamor, Pin-Up or Portraiture; a site inspection and planning must be conducted to study the furnishings, visual areas, natural lighting available. This consultation allows us to evaluate the feasibility of the area for the job at hand.

Photo shoots at home are best done when kids or other family members are not there, as well as with the family pets being removed from the environment where the photo shoot will be done.
